BigDenBoo’s journey tells a fascinating story with zero words. The hallmark of a talented
composer, "The Journey" is a gripping listen that did not need lyrics to be gripping, to raise
questions, to formulate emotional bonds, to introduce, and to take away characters, or to
provoke feelings. A fantastic album that will not be easily forgotten by BigDenBoo.
There is a lot to be said about this composer and prolific musician. But he lets his music speak
for him and it readily does, in volumes. To him, the most valuable thing as a composer is
expression. His ability to dilate and expand it to showcase its details, its nuance and its
layers are remarkable. And that’s what he revolves his stylistic endeavor around. To pose a
theme with a cinematic resolve.
The artist flows into people, connections, frames of thought, ambience, emotion, and feelings. He
inexplicably is able to tell detailed stories with just melodies.
It’s a wide blend of influences and inspirations, a striking concoction of sound that’s fully on
display in ‘The Journey’, BigDenBoo’s latest album. Marked as the first installment of his
‘musical adventures’, the record features a whopping 22 tracks, all drenched in synth-laden
vintage atmospheres and orchestral elegance. The result is nuanced soundscapes full of tension
and gloomy energy, yet also pretty anthemic and magnificent.

As you can tell this album was a cohesive story with fantastic storytelling instrumentation. Under
Captain Bright’s command, Scott Becker and his younger brother Tyler have recently joined the crew
of the Vengeance ship. Their objective was to Destroy a band of pirates who had taken up residence
on a marshy island and were persistently threatening the tranquil city of Staoslam. The album took
us on this adventure too and I must say I loved every bit of it. This was such a fun album but don’t
take my word for it, I implore you to have a listen and thank me later.
